The Castle Juniors football club was started by accident by a few enthusiastic parents with the aim of getting their children away from the various screens inside & into the fresh air. Little did they know that 11 years later they would have over 500 members and a turnover of over £100K. It has just grown & grown. Initially it was exclusively for young boys but they now have mixed games, all girl games, games for those with physical & mental disabilities and even a game now for those in their 40's & 50's. They have 4 part time professional coaches & now have 3 players in the Bangor Senior Football Club. Various members & ex members have had trials for professional teams here & across the water. They are determined to run the club in a really professional manner with the ethos "The Person, the Player, the Club & the Community".
